Whats this? Also is 14 MPG 3.6L on Mudders normal in Winter? At that rate, should I not care about what mods I do as how much worse can the MPG get? =P

That is the cabin temperature sensor. When it senses that the cabin is at the temperature setpoint, it will throttle back the heat input. It isn't the best at doing it's job...I get blasted by heat from the dash vents until the cabin reaches temp and it throttles back on the heat. Takes a while.

Fuel economy, I get, usually, 21 MPG bopping around in the summer and 20 in the winter (winter blend gas). Best ever seen on a long trip was just over 26.5 MPG. I get between 12 and 13 towing my travel trailer (27', 5,100 lbs with all we want or need). I have a stone stock Overland (ordered 5/19, delivered 7/19). The only change has been new tires. Went from the factory 255/70R/18 to 265/70R/18s. Did some research and the new tires are only 5 lbs heavier than the stock tires were.

Yeah, you have a stock Overland and tires made for better mpg.
M/T tires suck for mpg.
I think also your new tires are probably only a little wider than stock - which is what I did on my Overland (it did drop about a mpg or so going to A/Ts a tad wider)

To the OP - It's possible someone else driving your Jeep would get better. Where you live matters.
My wife would probably get 18 out of your Jeep.

winter mpg's will take a hit if you remote start and idle a lot. I see about 2mpg hit while driving, but I see about 5mpg hit overall because of the extra idling.

For tires I went with Hankook Dynapro AT2. Had them on my '08 GC Overland (Hemi) and saw no difference in fuel economy, and yes they were wider and taller (corrected speedo with a Tazer like thingy) than the previous tires which were the same as the stock size but a different brand.

Haven't really driven around that much since I got them on my JT so I cannot really comment on change in MPGs yet plus, yeah, hitting remote start for 5 or so minutes before heading out isn't helping any 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂

That's part of it - but he's got a whole slew of things involved aside from that. That will kill by a mpg or two. There's a lot of "winter gas" discussion here, and some links to where it goes into effect in different areas.
Im pretty sure now its the remote starting and Mudders in City driving is why Im lower than the 15-16 I was getting in SUMMER, LMAO.

Another flash freeze coming tomorrow night. This December has been stupid. 50's and rain to -10 overnight earlier this month, and now again tonight and tomorrow. I've got a 3 hour drive friday morning and I'm really hoping it's not a skating rink again.
