I got the last Synthetic Rope variant at one of the 6 local stores. $399 is the best price ever since they released this winch.

Now if Fab4 will send me the correct bumper, that I purchased during that Real Truck group buy 2 months ago, I'll be able to mount it. They want me to cut up the other bumper or crush it and send photos before they send the correct one out. They have a zero return policy on bumpers.

I'm waiting on my bumper from LoD. Ordered it on Black Friday. Said 4 to 6 weeks.

In true Jeep fashion, the “winch ready steel bumper” is not winch ready at all.

I went ahead and got one with synthetic rope for the $399 deal. I didn't realize until today that the APEX version can be bought with wire rope. When did they start doing that?? I got the last one available with the syn rope.

Yeah. Others too but it works with the stock bumper and apex 12k.

The Metalcloak Winch plate works great with it. The winch does sit low in the bumper with it so you do have to trim the handle but no other modifications are needed. Just installed mine last week, got the winch with the 20% off coupon but wish I would have waited for this deal.
