How's your credit rating and/or your marriage?
I'm guessing it's a GPS tracker, and If I bought that new, I would be re-reading everything I signed, and if the dealer installed that and I did not sign an agreement allowing it I would be making the dealer pay for a new wiring harness if it was mine.

Awesome. Thank you. Yea I remember all the vehicles had a SWAT charge on them. When I negotiated my deal, I told the sales person I wasn’t paying for any of their upgrades and I didn’t. I think it was installed and they forgot to disarm it.

So they installed a covert tracking device in the vehicle that is obviously active since it alarms if you leave their arbitrary geofenced area, and in doing do comprised the insulation on the computer wiring of an offroad vehicle that is literally designed by the factory to be cleaned out with a garden hose. At the very least you've earned a free extended warrantee on the electrical system.

That dealership is actually pretty good though. They fixed my old Jeep when Yuma dealer couldn’t figure it out. At least they were about 10-15 years ago,

Well San Diego Jeep is now a Carvana. Which I can’t complain, I took it in for what seams like the front end of my 2025 Mojave is hitting the bump stops all the time, with only 8000 miles. They are replacing both front shocks, the springs and bump stops. They couldn’t do the SWAT, so that’s why took it to Kearny Mesa. They wanted to keep the jeep for 3 days to diagnose.

Seriously what kind of hack uses 'electrical tape'? Use Tesa tape at a minimum and blend it in numbnuts.

Mine makes that noise too. When pulling into my driveway when going over the curb at the entrance of the driveway. I thought that was a normal Mojave thing with the Fox hydraulic bump stops. Is that not the case?

My front hit bad enough it blew one of the bump stops. When going over a speed bump over 8 mph it will hit the bump stops or even a big dip in the road. Apparently the mechanic felt the same way at Jeep. They are replacing all the suspension components.

Did the bump stop leak after hitting the speed bump? I've driven over rail road tracks and it fine.
If I pull into the drive way at a left or right angle it's quiet. Going straight into the driveway over the curb causes a thud like the bump stop bottomed out. I thought it was normal since other Mojave owners have mentioned the noise too.

I think I did it hitting a dip. I didn’t notice the leak the mechanic did. He said the Mojave is know for sounds up front, but mine seams to be hitting the stops excessively. So they are replacing everything. The mechanic said he’s had a few in with the same issue.
