I do recall a comment across the YouTubes about 392s going in everything.... MY27 is looking very promising.
I've been eyeballing Ram 2500 Rebels with Mega Cabs... but now there is a Cummins Power Wagon! If it also gets a Mega Cab, that will be my Trailer puller.

My 21' model TRX was $92K MSRP and I paid MSRP.
If I buy a 27' TRX model it will be at MSRP again.
I won't pay any dealer markup BS.

Still pretty pricy for sure.
Not 100% sure just how much I really want another one. LOL

Would much rather have a 392 V8 in a Mid-size truck.
Jeep really seems to be dragging their feet on this thing.
I was talking "base" and that was $71K before options in 2021.

They have written off a whole demographic of enthusiast buyers and pricing it as an "exclusivity" vehicle.

This is beyond the arguments of "stop being poor" the interweb cacklers will sneer.

Ram is putting the Power Wagon label on everything it seems. The true Power Wagon is dead.

Funny how for a couple hundred bucks you could upgrade a truck from 6 cylinder to V8, and today a 50k truck is 100k if you add a v8.
A truck is an implement to be used to carry stuff. As soon as I get moved, I am starting my LS swap. Since Jeep won't do it, I will. Screw towing capacity. Hauling ass will be towing capacity.
Maybe they did what nasa did. They lost the data to put a man on the moon. Jeep lost the data to stuff a v8 into a jeep. My 80 304 V8 powered CJ7 was from the factory. My other one with a SBC But today with all the BS we can't pull it off? Horse crap!!!!!!!

LOL 1980 compared to 45 years later in totally different vehicles.
Such a simplistic world view.

The guy who says NASA lost data to put a man on the moon laughs. Has no clue about modern rules, laws, and all that has to go into automakers swapping engines. Believes it's sooo very simple, clueless about the contracts, suppliers and others involved. Do that LS swap. Go for it!

Because all you keyboard Einsteins spend more time figuring out how not to do something, and I just find a way. This is not complicated. It really is simple. Not as easy as a engine swap in an early vehicle, but still not that complicated. Remove the engine, transmission, transfer, engine management and harness, and start over with a LQ4/6L60E.

Again, this is all just nonsense bla bla bla. Your generation is the generation of excuses. If they wanted to do it, they could. The reality is they do not want to. That is fine as all vehicles have got so expensive, that now I just don't care. Even if they did make it, it would be super expensive ultra exclusive like the TRX.

$52K, 4x4, V8.

Just giving you a hard time.

Like I've said before - they don't want to, and if they do, it will be a halo vehicle that folks with deep pockets or not debt adverse will buy, but I'm holding my breath on anything resembling an 'affordable' V8 Gladiator.

One of the biggest problems you will find is engine management and readout . For instance one of the reasons that the 5.7L and 6.4L and 6.2L Demon & Hellcat Mopar Motors are being used is because of sensors. The LS swaps are done but it is more difficult now due to the computers systems .

Nope.

Still nope.

Not today.

Not tomorrow.

Not in a box.

Not with a fox.

Not here.

Not there.

Not anywhere.
Dr. Seuss, is that you?
