A higher rated spring with the same overall length will provide lift though. It's still a guessing game where it will end up too. Maybe it will end up exactly where you want, maybe it won't. That's the beauty of just running a spacer. Typically unless you're running a crazy heavy bumper and winch with steel line you'll see ~1/2" of sag up front. I'm willing to bet a 1" spacer with the stock springs will end up almost identical to the x springs you plan plus the 1/2" spacer. The stock spring rates are so close together I doubt you'd see a difference in ride at all. Assuming the x and the standard springs are the same length and you gain the same 1/2" most others do, the spring rates would be within 10lbs/in of each other. I doubt you could even feel that diffrence driving both back to back. It’s not for lifting it is a higher rated spring to carry winch and bumper weight and it gets out of the bump stops and gets shocks into in a better zone. A few have done it with good results , I am about to and also putting a 1/2” spacer in front and getting my spare Fox shocks refurbed and tuned a bit firmer in rear for weight of cap and fridge that is in all the time.
I’m one of the guys running Max Tow springs with Icon spacer in rear and also have the diff. shock too and am actually running skinner tires then factory and love the setup !…Jack
