Warn Gladiator sighted

I was visiting the shop to discuss my upcoming 6.4 Hemi swap. I was touring around the shop when the guys there pointed out the Warn Winch company's Gladiators. I looked at three Rubicon Gladiators that High Lift was building for Warn Winches.

They are all identical builds with two white and one black. They were outfitted with Warn unique graphics and either had or were getting Warn bumpers and winches, a 2.5" lift, wheels and tires, along with lights, a retro roll bar setup, and other goodies.

Pics are not the best, I was snapping quickly as I walked through the shop and lot.

My guess is they were purchased from the dealer 1/4 mile away.

I really like that Warn bumper. If I don’t go stubby (which I don’t really need for overlanding) I am going to go with the Warn.

On dealer tag it could be Warn has dealer tags. I've known some businesses that have multiple vehicles do that. Heck when I lived in GA. I thought about just getting a dealer license and tags. Five vehicles on same insurance policy at the time.

I do not like roll bars..

They worked in the 80's, but today...Not so much. Kinda like star mags and lights behind the wheels. All about, "Hey look at me."

Not a big fan of roll bars, but I do like the position of light bars on roll bars. Makes a lot more sense to me if the light bar is further back on the vehicle towards the center. Keeps the glare off the hood and that weird “shadow” out of your peripheral vision. With it above the windshield I was always aware of it and even if I couldn’t see it, it was a distraction.

Have you looked in to the requirements for a dealers license? Here in Michigan, you need a building with a sign, office, and a bathroom. You have to pass inspection. And then you must have business hours with someone sitting at the building and they'll check.

Depends on the states requirements some states have different requirements less or more. I had 5 vehicles with tags and insurance along with several trailers ect. If I had land back then I'd probably have dozens of XJ's, MJ's, and other Jeeps. I bought several for $400.00 - 1000.00 seemed like people wanted to throw Jeeps to me then. I'd probably been like Dex on utube if I could find some land in the area I lived then.
