Dark Sky Appearance Package for Sport S

Has anybody ordered or purchased a Sport S with the Dark Sky package? I'm assuming it is just a Mojave hood; i.e. non-Hydro-Guide?

Call me Moriarty because I'm bringing the negative waves but.... I can't imagine they'd have invested in a Hydro-Guide for the Pentastar since the filter boxes are on opposite sides of the engine compartment.

It would be pretty cool if they did because I'd be right in line to grab one and retro it.

You can get one and do that now for the Pentastar can’t you? Is it a dealer only, no VIN, no buy kind of item? I haven’t looked into it so honestly don’t know.

Not sure on the order status at the dealers but the end of the Hydro Guide lands on the opposite side of the engine compartment than a 3.6L so I don't know that it would be even possible to MacGuyver something to work.

My 2026 Sport S came with the Dark Sky appearance package. It included a “performance hood” and a “premium front bumper with gloss-black accents”.

To be honest I’m not 100% sure what that package exactly includes, but I like how it looks.

Yes, the Dark Sky includes the Mojave hood with no Hydro-Guide. I know Dirt Road Cred talks about the beauty of Hydro-Guide system but it's always in reference to their AMW V8s.

Probably could 3D print something to replace what’s there. I’ve seen how they are routed and it’s just a clip in type piece of plastic that attaches to the hood. I’m simplifying but could definitely purely print something to work if you have those skills and scanning capability. Still need my detached garage to set up a workshop for this type of stuff. I’ve been perusing YouTube University to gain some knowledge on it.

I have the Dark Sky on my Sport S, it is for esthetics only.

The Dark Sky option also includes a body color painted rood. My Sport S came with the Dark Sky option.
