I have no experience with balance beads, but I often notice a lot of water vapor in my tires when I air down; probably from using a small 12V compressor to fill coming off the rail. Do y'all think that the moisture would affect the beads? As in sticking together or someplace other than the light side?

From what I’ve read moisture is a problem when people cheat and use airsoft pellets. But I’m past that. I’m going to try to get them balanced with weights. Shop to shop I guess.

Mine isn’t that nice either. Of course mine is a set of large angled needle nose. I’ve been eyeing one of these for a while though.

So got the first tire off. Took me about 1.5 hours. Then cleaned one of the new to me Beadlocks. Unscrewed the sensor from the valve stem. The previous owner left them in and they don’t work on a 2021. I have a stem installer, but don’t know the right way to remove them. Any suggestions? Thanks people.

Forget the valve question. I pulled it through the outside. Not sure if that’s the normal way, but it worked.

Ok. So a tire is seated on the wheel, sitting on a 5gal bucket. Is it normal for this much rubber to be above the wheel flange? I’ve tapped the tire down all the way around with a rubber hammer. This seems to be where it’s stopped?

I’m thinking I need Beadlock ring spacers.

This is barely snug as a test fit. My bead bundle is .75”, which battle born says typically doesn’t require spacers, but I’m going to ask more questions before tightening these.

If you’re referring to the anti-coning ring I’d probably error on the side of caution. 3/4” is a fairly large gap when you’re relying on something to be clamped down or fly off your vehicle….
