Seems like a cool dea to have a limited production model but.......is it worth it? Who's biting on the launch edition?

Tempting if you get yours before a lot of dealer inventory! I have nothing to base that on, but just pure speculation!

I was very tempted but saw that it doesn't come with Gobi or Sting Grey. I guess I can say it's a blessing in disguise looking at the price :whew:

I was curious, and I'd bite on at least contacting the concierge, but as a Canadian, I'm willing to bet it's a US limited edition, and not available in Canada .

But I'll still look in to it .it's out of my budget, but if it has everything I'd want/need in a gladiator, and I'm paying a bit more to have it first/specialized, it's worth looking at .

I'm considering, but I'm waiting to see if the April 1st "more info" says things like if packages can be added - as I don't see the cold weather package and I'm old and it gets cold in Montana. It would be a deal breaker if it couldn't be added. Otherwise, I was planning on getting a loaded Rubicon anyway (although a different color).

I keep seeing the phrase “fully optioned rubicon” - which means everything to me... it’s got the Jeep a advanced safety group even. So it has to have the cold weather package. But yea more info on Monday.

Am I safe assuming I can't get a deal on these like with a normal Gladiator at say Peterson in Boise?

And does anyone know if an FCA affiliate code will work on this one?

Hope to find out more Monday.
IF yes? I'm pretty sure FCA just converted this ZR2 coal burner on Thursday...

So Besides a "badge" or paint scheme does the Launch Edition give you anything over a standard fully loaded Rubicon? No. If it was something special, i.e. motor(Hemi), Drivetrain package, Or Something to actually differentiate itself, then it may be interesting. Putting a sticker on it and calling it special, isn't in my opinion.

I would consider if it wasn’t forcing me into an automatic :( Deal breaker

I noticed that Granite Crystal is one of the color choices. That's also listed as late availability on the build tool. Not sure what to make of that.

Totally agree.
I need to drive one before I commit to buy anyway.
Spending $50+K on vehicle without ever driving it, is not my thing.
I don't have any urgency on getting a JT, not like my current rides are on their last legs.

Talked to my dealer today. They have no info on this. Wonder if it’s real.
