Ehh I'm over it got me a 2019 ram Laramie with all the bells and whistles for 46k after incentives to me seems like a whole lot more truck for your money
I hear you loud and clear. But really two different kind of trucks. Laramie probably the great Hemi, cushy ride, and a million out there. JT the lil V6, true off roader, new to the scene so unique (for now).

The 3/4 ton trucks are the best deal if size is no issue. Full size trucks are huge and that can be fun to drive in the short term. However living with them daily is a pain unless you need that capacity. Most people are hauling air. California now taxes you for the extra weight on trucks to add insult to injury. So I concur 2 different vehicles.

Can I come to GB and sit in it? Lol, one of 4190 and all it's glory! I gotta go see my friend that does tattoos there anyways. Well worth the trip.
I’ll keep you in the loop!! You can personally and I would be honored to have you affix my plywood rated badge!

Crap, if this is the case I may have to just go full size. May as well go for a ram rebel or trail boss.
Yeah and to add insult to injury, full size trucks usually get massive rebates. The Gladiator won't.

Makes for an interesting situation. Truck buyers are a unique group. Jeep is taking a gamble. Will be neat if they can pull it off.

After long discussion with She who must be obeyed, I'm still in at $50k for semi-loaded Overland including TTL. The only question is how long the wait will be for Sting Grey...

I'll be reaching out to Travis this week.

It's about what I expected. I'm torn, it's in the same price range as a used 2017+ raptor... After the cost of performance mods to the Jeep gladiator, I'll be well over the cost of the raptor.

I'd already have a raptor if it weren't for having to look at the Ford logo every day... I may just hold out for the TRX if it ever makes it to market.

As of right now. Tacoma Trd off road 6k tow capacity and manual tranny. I sold my jkur for it.

For 44k you can get a manual 6.7 Cummins diesel and tow the moon

I'm in for 4190 on used market in a number of years. Wont pay the asking price for new.

Looks like $35k - $62k is the range, which is a little above what we had hoped for but not terribly so. Definitely priced higher than the competitors. Just curious to hear if any of you are deterred by the price and are going to hold off now?
I’ve got some sticker shock on the Launch edition but still hoping I can get a Rubicon nearly fully loaded for $50k after the FCA discount.
I’m in!

The Tacoma with manual transmission has the lowest towing capacity in the entire segment. Of course, one should never expect Toyota to be superior in any category when it comes to trucks. They have the most outdated, overpriced, overhyped truck on the planet.

And for 2019, you cannot buy a Ram heavy duty truck with a manual transmission at all.

Gladiator still wins.

I can't say that I am still on board with Gladiator now that the pricing is out. I went on and priced out a fairly well-equipped Rubicon Gladiator and it came out to be $55k and change. The I did a Ram Rebel with 4-corner air suspension (which I have now on my '15 Ram Laramie and I love it); e-assist hemi; sun roof; navigation (8 inch screen - not the 12); quad cab (which I also have now on my Laramie and I have easily accommodated 5 adults) so it has a longer and wider bed and the Rebel was also just over $55k. The Rebel will have a lot more torque and overall power and I understand the Rubicon and the off-road capability but the Rebel also has some pretty good off-road credibility of its own.

So until such time that Jeep decides to build and extended cab with a more capable bed instead of 60 inch "lifestyle" (worthless) bed - I would go with the alternate FCA product and get a Rebel....
