Actually would like to purchase in Alaska & drive it back, but we can’t take that much time off from work LOL maybe next time.The long distance is the whole point, our idea of ‘vacation’ is different than most folks = lot of country to see out there.

I ordered my launch edition from Kent (5% under invoice w/ TL, traditional financing). So far that's the only JT that can be ordered. Like @beelzebot said, when regular order banks open, historically they offer basic discount is 5%, another 1% with TL/FCA control number, and 1% with dealer financing. So you don't have to use their financing. People have played games with their financing (refi or pay off after 2-3 months to get the discount). Folks have come from all over for JLs and I'd expect the same on the JTs. Coming from OR is a no brainer.

No trade. Most people who purchase there fly in, Kent picks you up at the airport, in and out of the dealership in an hour and you're heading home in your new Jeep. Dozens upon dozens of positive reviews of Kent here and on the JL forums.

If you trade then that is where the dealership can make nice profit. They will give you a wholesale price on your trade and will sell it to someone at a retail price. Suggest that you try to sell it to someone locally so you get the retail price instead of the dealership.

We are seriously considering ordering our JT from a dealer out west & would fly out there, pick it up, and have an epic vacation driving it back to TN. Done it twice now with 2 other Jeeps, but this would be the farthest away = almost 2K miles + excursions! Kent sounds like the right kinda guy to do business with (for a change) will be giving him a call.

Or call Spencer at Motor Inn of Spirit Lake, Iowa. I live in Nampa (5 minutes from Peterson Jeep) and Kent wouldn't give me a call back, took my money to Iowa instead. Will be a cool road trip back.

I think he's been pretty swamped. He emailed me yesterday for my build config as he gets ready for banks to open. Not that being swamped is an excuse, but we forum folk are borderline obsessed while for him this is a job. Sounds like he's getting caught up though.

I understand being busy. I get it. We have three Jeep dealers in the valley and no one returned my calls during launch day. And I wanted to make sure I got one. I'm very happy with my deal. Good luck to everyone who bought one from Kent.
