I cannot remember who said it but I think that as far as Jeep is concerned "delivery date" is the day it leaves the factory. ie:delivered to the transporter or more accurately as far as we are concerned it is the ship date. At that point Jeep is no longer in possession or control of the truck. In a retail sense delivery is the day that we, as consumers, finally get our hands on it. My dealer always referred to May 16 as my ship date and never a delivery date.

My LE was moved to E status today and is in framing (according to the LE Concerige line)!!!

My estimated ship date is 5/18.

From what I’ve seen posted, the orders are hitting the production line the day before the estimated ship date.

I’m sure delivery date is the day it leaves Jeeps hands, which was 5/17. Makes sense because I don’t have it. These posts also make me believe entirely that it only takes a day to build a gladiator. It was mentioned back some time that production was fast. I’m banking on having Gladys Memorial Day weekend.

I was told by my sales guy a while back that I had a build date of 5/20. While he was on vacation last week I stoped in and the guy that does the ordering told me I had a ship date of 5/20. I am under the assumption that guy #2 was misinformed.

My sales guy is back today and is checking on a ship date for me sometime today.

It's been a little over a week since I placed my order. My dealership just received their first JT, a silver Rubicon, and I'll be test driving it this afternoon. Hopefully they can give me a status update on my JT.

I visited the Massey Fergson plant and saw them build massive $300K farm tractors all in line in an hour, paint everything and it drove out to the lot in under an hour. Pretty sure you are right that these things just move down the assembly line all day and are producing many every day.
