While this feature is still annoying, knowing that it addressed a real safety issue does help me accept it. Thanks for the back story!Eh...there's a good reason it was added.

Wait... auto park?Add Auto Park to my list of dislikes. I pretty much hate this safety feature, as a contractor Im in and out of this truck multiple times and many of those times its only to move the truck a few feet. Having to shut the door or plug in the seatbelt sucks when doing this..
It's not a "park assist", but rather a feature that stops the vehicle from moving if it believes it might be 'unmanned'. If the driver door is open or it doesn't sense weight in the driver seat, the vehicle automatically goes into 'park' ... even if you manually have it in drive or reverse.Wait... auto park?

Just experienced it by mistake. I was going reverse slowly and opened the door. It went right to park and stopped. Interesting. I wonder if off road mode, or 4H and 4L disable that.... that would be super annoying wheeling.
Interesting. I haven’t experienced it yet.
So that means you’d have to move it up to Park and then back to where you want it...
Wait @ralphjjr You got your Gladiator too? LOL Damn, starting day after tomorrow I will be paying insurance for the LE that I don't have :DJust experienced it by mistake. I imagine there is some type of disconnect , otherwise we couldn't drive with the doors off... Is it a feature in the apps that can be turned off?Just experienced it by mistake. Nice, Congratulations! So, the dealer delivered it to your house on a flat bed?Yes! On Wednesday

Yea kudos to Tri-City, specifically @Travis@TriCityJeep - despite the waiting, which wasn’t the dealers fault, best car buying experience I’ve had to date.Nice, Congratulations! So, the dealer delivered it to your house on a flat bed?![]()
If I had known that he would deliver to my doorstep I would have ordered from him. Just didn't want to deal with driving/flying out there to pickup the truck... But, I'm happy with my deal I got as well tho.Yea kudos to Tri-City, specifically @Travis@TriCityJeep - despite the waiting, which wasn’t the dealers fault, best car buying experience I’ve had to date.
The delivery cost money - but all in all it was cheaper than flying there, and with the deal I was still saving money. I’d do it again - although now I know that launch really means sloth to fca... cue the sloth memes @steffen707If I had known that he would deliver to my doorstep I would have ordered from him. When you disconnect the power to the JL doors, they can open without triggering auto park. I haven't had it auto park while in 4hi or 4lo. I'm not sure whether or not I ever came up off of my seat to get a look at things while moving to trigger it though.Just experienced it by mistake. I was going reverse slowly and opened the door. I imagine disconnecting the doors probably turns it off... maybe...I imagine there is some type of disconnect , otherwise we couldn't drive with the doors off... Is it a feature in the apps that can be turned off?
