The winch ready steel bumper wasn't even an option when I ordered a Rubicon mid-June. Am I correct in assuming this is what everyone considers the "steel bumper"? I am hopeful that would be one (1) less thing to hold up my build.steel rear bumpers is what i was told on mine
i dont even bother with the chat anymore, so much contradiction. I also do not think that they know we all talk to each other about everything they tell us.You really have to search through the Jeep site to find the chat line. I just had an interesting chat with them. Was told that no manual transmission models have been built yet, that it’s delayed until at least one more month. And yes I know that some here have info that their manual transmission trucks have been built and are about to get on a truck any day now.![]()
Was also told that no base Sport models will be built and shipped to a dealership unless a dealership orders a base Sport model(not the Sport S).
I think what we are seeing across the board that Jeep "customer service" doesn't have a clue. Jeep chat says none are being built, but we see folks with builds in work. On the Granite side Jeep concierge line says they are having problems switching over paint, yet others have theirs completing builds too. So basically the "customer service" feedback doesn't match reality.Hey Troutman the interesting thing was that the Jeep chat lady told me that the manual windows is a delayed release item. However that is not stated anywhere on their web site. And you are right about their not knowing what info is posted on this web site. And we all know that the info members here have about their already built trucks comes directly from Jeep chat folks and/or from Jeep dealerships, who pass that info on to the members here after they get it from Jeep. Go figure!!!!
D. Always D. 51 days since order. D.What status is some of our Rubicon guys at? I’ll be checking for myself today.
Yeah, it's making me suspicious that they know the natives(us) are getting restless, so they're saying D1 instead of D on chat to make it sound like something is moving. Meanwhile it's no more getting built than it was before.Dealer texted this morning. Still in D1. But they expect by the end of month delivery. No build date yet.
Rubicon soft top firecracker red with most of the bells and whistles. Ordered 5/6.
I’m not holding my breath.
I think it's the rear that's supposedly causing problems. Mine has been in limbo for ages and I didn't order the steel front. The winch ready steel bumper wasn't even an option when I ordered a Rubicon mid-June. I still don't understand how the STANDARD transmission is a late availability itemYou really have to search through the Jeep site to find the chat line. I just had an interesting chat with them.
