Can you educate us financing rookies? Is the decimal some sort of interest conversion? Why only leasing?

Sorry. I should have provided additional context. The thing with the money factor, it’s never listed in a lease contract. A dealer could tell you the money factor changed and your payment is going up. Bad business but it happens to make a few extra $$ on the backend.

Basically if you have Tier 1 credit you'll pay 3.34%
Tier 2 you'll pay 4.32%

Tier 3 . 4.4%

What was the adjusted net cap cost on your lease? Did you put anything down and did you roll in the acquisition fee?

I can't recall and I don't have my paperwork handy.

I put down $500 deposit to order, and wrote a check for $1,9XX when I picked up. Tax is 5% in my state. My payment is $453

Sounds about right. I ordered a Rubicon, $60,680 MSRP, 5% under invoice brought it to $54,091. Rolling in tags and acquisition fee brought my adjusted cap cost to approx. $54,700. First month only down, $599 per month 39/12. They said my rate changed and new payment is $616

So just to confirm, July rates are higher than June rates? That blows.

Dealer said June was higher than May. According to the sheet, they didnt change. I dont have July yet. The MF sheet i posted was sent to me by a friend, not the dealership. They keep this close to the chest.
