FCA should really come out with an updated schedule..

The fact that the original (leaked) schedule has slipped is probably reason that FCA is keeping the dealers in the dark -- if it slips again, no biggie, etc...

I gotta say that I think they would go a long way with the most loyal customers by just admitting it and saying here is what we hope. If they make that, great, if not come back again and just give an update. Hey, we all know stuff happens but cutting info off from your best customers isn't a good idea for any business.

also when you add the cold weather package it forces you to switch to the automatic transmission @_@

Oh damn!!!! That’s supposed to be the color of my truck. And I am in D1 status, scheduled to be built. I would not think that they would have me scheduled to be built if they had a problem with this color? Just called my dealership to get them to check into this. I may need to pick out a different color rather quickly. Thanks for pointing this out @basicGlad

i know how you feel. maybe they set the paint booths up for specific colours... do those ones exclusively and then switch back. probably less work than constantly changing the colour they're painting. maybe they've switched the booths from silver, red, black and white to pumpkin, gator, gobi and hydro blue

I wouldn't trust the Jeep website. It has been buggy. The Rubicon doesn't show late availability for any color. I stopped by my dealer on Sunday when they had a skeleton crew to ask if Gobi was in the system yet and one of them said yes, sure is see I can pick it on the website.

@Gobi Wan K I spoke with my sales person today. He was off today and will let me know more tomorrow. Also still waiting to see a response from @JeepCares

And FYI I would be ok with sting grey if I have to pick anything color. But would not be at all ok if this means that I have to go to the end of the line and re-start my production clock. Crossing fingers. Really don’t want to have to go to the end of the line.

Hello @JeepCares please let us all know how Jeep will handle orders for silver color trucks that are already in the system. I have been in D1 for about 2 weeks.

For everyone’s info I sent PM to Jeep Cares yesterday and they did not send me a reply right away. So I just this morning went on line and did the Jeep chat thing. And the lady that I chatted with said that they “should” still build my truck in silver. And while I was on line with that chat someone from Jeep Cares sent me a PM telling me the same thing, again “should” being the operative word. Had also asked my dealership yesterday to confirm this. Hopefully they will come back and tell me the same good news. Makes me a happy camper.

No clue why they now list it as a late availability color. Did not ask them about that. Just checked to confirm that they will still build my truck in silver which they said they would.

If anybody knows the latest please: are the front steel bumpers and hard top headliners available to order? Planning on placing order on Tues. 9/03. Just noticed yesterday it's no longer showing on the configurator (the steel bumper option that is)

Both are available to order. Stopped at Fuqua CDJR where I ordered my 2017 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon and built a Gladiator in Rubicon trim. Added the steel bumpers but left off the headliners. More partial to Hotheads liners. Was there 8-26-19@4:03p.m.
