Yeah I don’t think the wheels were a big selling factor for the LE, however the dash was. And in my case was more important than the badge. Many used the LE as an opportunity to get away from the red rubicon dash. I’m sure you are aware that there is an 11 page thread in the JL forum regarding just that. And it has come up in this forum time and time again. So I wouldn’t assume the leather wrapped dash is not important to the people who purchased the LE.
Funny you say that because the biggest reason I did not go with a Rubicon when I ordered my Sahara was I couldn't stand the red dash.

I find it interesting how many gladiator haters post in a gladiator forum. It’s almost like college football message boards...
Just doesn't make any sense does it.

Exactly! Don't care about the badge. Absolutely hate the red dash (went to a Jeep dealer this AM to show my wife a JLUR and reinforced my dislike for the red dash). Leather dash was probably the biggest reason not to wait for Gobi. And I will get my Granite LE before I'd ever see a Gobi w/ red dash (not a fan of "dark" saddle which would get the gray dash). Wheels are nice too, and I don't plan to swap/upgrade mine anyway. LE spec was basically what I would custom order, short of adding dual (soft) top and floor mats which are easy add-ons and don't require factory install.

I thought the LE's were fully loaded. Found one near Salt Lake City that is a LE but does not have the wireless speaker option.

I have an LE and was just told by the Dealer that there is a recall on the wifi speaker. The later LE's may have been deleted having something to do with the recall.
