This, so far, is one of the most tame, cooperative, and helpful fora I’ve ever seen. If you think this one is too argumentative, you haven’t read any other forum on any issue.

Meh, it is the typical churn of any automotive related forum. Just have to be smart enough to filter out the BS and find the nuggets of wisdom one is looking for. Just need to get your cherry popped in a oil related thread and everything else is easy.

Almost any that starts out "what's the best............." ........ it may as well be about religion.

Yup! Reminds me of the saying "Everybody is an asshole except you and me, but I am starting to have doubts about you". We all want confirmation of our own biases.

That last sentence pretty much sums up human nature - and I see myself in that as well.

Thus the extreme success of social media in general. Zuck knew that very well and got rich over it. People love likes, youtube'rs want likes and views, "instagram influencers" whatever the heck that is........I don't do instagram or whatever but apparently people strive to influence there.

Lord have mercy. There are a lot of prophets on here preaching their version of the gospel. It wasn’t bad a few months ago, but some of y’all seem to just try and one up each other. It’s either BS about what you should have or shouldn’t have paid; price off invoice doesn’t matter; tires either work or no way in hell it will work; towing and payload BS; I could go on and on. It was entertaining at first, but now it is just getting annoying. I’m to the point of blocking some prophets.
The "Ignore" button is a beautiful thing. I felt the same as you did. I cut out a lot of the BS with a couple clicks of the mouse.

Uh, let me guess "what's the best way to haul plywood with a Jeep" ?
(as many ways as there are people - or, ask for the free delivery? or was it worse than that?)

I have received some great guidance from folks I have met through this forum. I tell Folks this is my first real Jeep (even though Jeep tracks me as owning 4 so far). I appreciate the communication and willingness to share information and provide direction on this forum - so thanks to all of you that have provided JT guidance.

I have only had one forum member get his panties in a bunch for asking a question on their thread. After their IM complaint I decided to delete the question rather than listen to a snowflake melt. Other that that, I have had an outstanding experience here and have personally meet great friends in the process.

Why are you still trying to get people hooked on the crack rock that is plywood:CWL: Have you no shame:(
Hey now. It sure ain't particle board! I mean, if you're saying that?!? There's no comparo. Plywood is far more original and authentic, for certain. And... We have a notch! See? It's not a particle notch. It's a plywood notch. Jeez.:rock::like:

OK, let's be clear - is this about plywood, particle board, OSB or MDF?
Plywood is typically the lightest. Easy to deal with and haul.
And if plywood - both sides sanded or one side? Marine grade? Oak veneer?
