I said to my wife that the only Gladiator available around to be white as she wanted it was a Launch Edition...

No joke, it’s not only a LE, it’s a Canadian LE... the footwell and cup lights are red and the dash is moose leather :CWL:

Seriously, the dial switch can adjust the intensity of the cup holder light when the headlights are not set to AUTO. The footwell light is ON or OFF but I’m not really able to dim the intensity with this dial even in 1 of the 419 Canadian Jeep Gladiator Rubicon Launch Edition!!!

I plan on rewiring that rheostat to modulate the power of the phaser array I am working on from stun to disintegrate. I got to do something to deal with the jerks who drive faster than me and the assholes who drive slower than me!

I really wish the one on the left controlled the foot wells, cup holders, and overhead interior lights. I really don't like the dome light and like disabling it by rotating switch all the way down... however in low light situations this means my dash lights are also too low, so having the dash lights, and all interior light on separate switches would be far more practical for me.

Ok so I just went out to see what it does. It only changes the minuscule backlighting behind the door handles. I didn’t even know there was lighting back there so it’s a struggle to see it for sure...pitch black garage. The cup holder light dims with the dash lighting. I guess only the fancy folk with their loaded up rubi’s and overlands will notice more if they have the footwell lighting? My sport s doesn’t have that. Hilarious
There's lights behind the handles?

One is the drivers panel lights and the other is the headlights and parking lights coming one on according to darkness coming on

It’s the switch that was supposed to turn bed lights on and off but instead FCA decided my feet are afraid of the dark lmao

it doesn’t dim floor lights of Sport S. Others have said, the dimming floor lights are a Rubicon item.
Mine dims door handles and cup holder, but it doesn’t do much. Must be dark, dark, dark to see change difference.

It dims all the accessory lights on my overland, floor included.

It helps that big ole radio to shine in my eyes as I back up.... I hope we find out later it was truly supposed to be for the bed lights and someone said oops just go with it lmao

Hilarious responses and thanks for the manual snapshot! I must have glazed over the last half of that. Agree with ‘must be the most useless thing on the whole truck’ bwahaha, I am so underwhelmed I forgot to even go check. Maybe tomorrow when I remember again...if I remember again.
Try alcohol, may help, no guarantee. And don’t forgets not to remembers to check it.

ya i like the button for bed lights, they also automatically come on as soon as you open a door or unlock the doors with your remote

i installed a rigid sr-m pro diffused flush mount led light in the flat blank space beside my license plate and powered it directly from the bed lights wire i tapped into up behind the box outer wall, easy to see from below, you sure notice those extra 2375 lumens when you open a door or unlock lol, love this upgrade, will really love it when i'm backing up to the next deer i need to gut and load up, also come in handy to blind anyone behind me if they need it ;)

would not want the dimmer wheel attached to the bed lights is what i'm saying, they are set up just fine, i like the button for manual control when needed
