I didn't think the Sport S could get LEDs other than the tails with the max town. I already found the exact one I want. Sure it doesn't have the safety group in it
I think that is correct, no full LED package with Sport S. I did not want the "safety package" except for the standard side air bags, which are good to have. I have seen complaints on this forum about the automated safety/collision avoidance not working real well, and being a problem on trails.

You're thinking of the Active Cruise/Forward Collision Warning+ package. From the horror stories I've read (and not liking electro-nannies I can't control) about them almost causing wrecks I told the dealer that I would in no way consider a Jeep with that package. The one that I wanted merely would have added blind spot detection (little light on the mirror and a ding at me if I ignore it and put on my signal) and the reverse sensing system (backup sonar). The blindspot would be supplemental to me because I would still look but it may help some. The sonar would be nice IF the camera ever went out like it does on occasion on my Cadenza. I can still backup confidently by hearing the beeps and knowing I can back a little more.

I have the ACC/FCW package on the Overland I bought last July. I have had no issues with it. The ACC works great and I use it all the time. I get so few warnings from the FCW system that I question if it's working. I did get two warnings during close driving in fast traffic, but no stops.

There have been a few reports of issues with false alerts and stops here. There is a TSB with a flash update that is supposed to correct the issues. I would not refuse the system because of a few negative reports. The ACC is well worth the cost, and the FCW can be easily disabled.

While I'm sure I'd get used to the ACC I don't want the FCW at all. It's nice to hear they put a TSB for it and that the issues I heard about may a thing of the past, but it's still a system I don't want. Nor do I want to pay that much for something that I'm only going to use maybe half of along with it adding complexity and possibly more cost down the road for if/when part of it or an attached system goes sideways. I'm glad you like it, it's just not for me.

I would have liked to get the blind spot detection and rear sonar, but not a biggie, I can do rear sonar aftermarket for fairly cheap, and that's just used for if the camera goes out. I have mirrors for the sides :)
I think the LED taillights come with the safety group

I do believe you're correct. I was looking between the Gladiator I'm going to pick up tomorrow and another 1 that had the safety group on it. I've been looking at so much stuff lately some of the small things may mix a bit LOL. Thank you for pointing that out, another standard light I'll have to change out to an LED down the road >.> But first, seat covers and headliners!

:like: lease or buy none of mine or anyone else business which you do. I got Sport S Max-Tow w H top if the dealership I got it from would have ordered it when I was there last June/July I would have got it as a lease and bought it out. Part 2 of my comment: modify or not, I'm sticking with stock tires n wheels no lift for now. Not needed for my purpose as of now or cost effective. I didn't get any of my Jeeps to impress anyone, I got them for myself. Part 3.. Here I'm probably going to piss off some or many... probably 75% don't or can't drive their vehicle to half of it's capability so to compensate they "pull it C.C." and have it over built. Some of best first mods.... Fire extinguisher, first aid kit basic recovery equipment. :like: on seat covers too. I seen a headliner kit at Q-tec for a fair price I think. On some of other add on stuff check for JL not JT can be half of the mark up.

You can change out the entire front, headlights, foglights, turn signals and running lights for under a $100 to LEDs that are pretty great. I did all but the turn signals on mine about a month ago and I was in it for around $85. I'm still deciding on if I want to change out the turns or not. Here is a thread with some info on it

Seriously? Does that require wire splicing or tapping? I'm afraid to do that but saw others I liked, like the expensive 7" Morimoto lol.

Only on the foglights. The others are just bulbs. It's pretty simply to do. Wire tapping is easy.

Some pics for reference

I meant the LED lights :P The wheels on mine will come much later since that will set me back $2.5k+ in just materials. Any chance you have a list of your lights or any links to the products?

Foglights specify when you make inquiry that you want them for a JL, they will fit in just like stock.

Headlights

Outside running lights

SYLVANIA - 7443 T20 ZEVO LED White Bulb - Bright LED Bulb, Ideal for Daytime Running Lights (DRL) and Back-Up/Reverse Lights (Contains 2 Bulbs) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N4VNT2C/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_apa_i_v8oLEb3WNBZYZ

That's everything I used. Prices may have went up a few bucks since I did mine but well worth it to stay around $100. I used Loyo led lights on my JKU and never had any issue out of them. I'll be order led cannons from them when I decide which bumper I want to go with.

Sorry for the confusion on the other post. Let me know if you have any other questions.
