JLU bikini on Gladiator?

I am looking for a bikini for the gladiator. Something that can be kept in truck and used in event of rain. I really prefer the naked look over the OEM softop.. so I would love to be able to just put on bikini and use it for summer/rain months. I don't have a JLU so unsure of fitment.. but if I can find one and have the length modified I would prefer this. I also would like it to extend over rollcage at doors so that it stayed as dry as possible? Any thoughts? ( I will buy OEM softop surrounds if needed to keep doors sealed)

I've never seen a bikini top that I thought would provide sufficient protection from rain, that's not really their purpose.

Interesting - I have a bikini and Safari tops for my TJ which provide good protection from falling rain (not spray) In looking at the tops for JL/JT's it seems that with the configuration and rail system - its more velcro (bungee) strap sun screens vs Bikini / weather protection.

I had one for my JKU that used factory soft top surrounds and sealed the cab perfect. The rear cargo was exposed and did get wet but I simply had carpet and it's out. The dash and seats remained dry. Intended purpose or not it was perfect for me and kept us dry in a pinch.

I ran one for my JKU in the warmer months made by Bestop. I'd love it if they made one for the Gladiator. I want options other than the Mopar one. I'd really like to see a video of the install and removal of them as well. I'm planning to go without my hard top from April/May through October/Nov, so I want something that'll keep me from getting SOAKED when it rains. The Bestop one did the trick for me in my JKU.

I totally agree that we need this for the JT. I ran the Mastertop version from Quadratec all summer on my JK. It also used the soft top surrounds and cinched up tight with an internal cable. Fantastic design. Windjammer and deck cover zipped in and made it very water “resistant”. I see nothing like this for the JT. Not even a full length Bimini top? I even called Mastertop—they said the are working on some things for the JT. If anyone knows of any other options please let us know.

and a Targa Bikini https://www.bestop.com/jeep/2020/gladiator/standard-targa-bikini/

looks like you got to use both items to make it work... Looks like an option... no idea if in stock as of writing this.

I used to rock the bikini & tonneau cover on my old 2 door wranglers with soft half doors. It worked awesome in those unexpected rain storms.
I wish they would make some type of tonneau for the JT back seat area.

I picked up the OEM bikini top recently, but have not had time to install it. It comes with a bunch of screw-in snaps so some drilling is needed I guess. Haven't read the directions yet.

The mopar version covers the front & back from what I can tell.

I haven't installed it yet, but the Mopar top does cover both seats, and the snaps go into existing holes. You remove existing screws and replace them with the snaps. It seems reasonably sturdy and well made.
