I was thinking king about adjusting the steering box. How many turns did you give it?
A little less than a quarter is perfect. I highly recommend it. By far the best improvement.

Thanks. Just realized you’re also in Nashville. Would enjoy seeing your truck sometime.
30w. Asked then yesterday about it. Said it should be on their website within a month.

The first time you ever do that on a brand new vehicle/paint job, you never forget that stomach-churning cringing feeling that just makes you grind your teeth and twist your head grimacing out of a mixture of anger and self-realization of stupidity.

Been there a few times... It sucks! So far, the JTR is still too new for me to try anything that even looks too narrow, or has overhanging branches I don't feel like eliminating at the moment.

Reality is, I bought it to navigate the lease and pastures hog and deer hunting. Still doesn't change the cringe with the first "screeeeeee" down the side.

Got her nakid for the first time, hoped on the highway to see how it would run with the tent, all good!

Looks great! Is that a retractable bed cover? What bed rack are you running? I’ve got a Bak X4 revolver on the way but still investigating if I can run a rack with it somehow. ...Anyway, nice rack!

JCR high rack with the literider cover, rolls back, I have a you tube video showing it rolling back and getting past the vertical rack supports.

Supposed to have a DV8 fs15 front bumper and warne winch installed by now. Have 2 damaged bumpers sitting at the house and a third was supposed to be delivered yesterday and I'm being it's damaged to and they didn't bother. Quadratech has been great, shipped 2 new ones no questions asked but the packaging sucks.

I made her look more presentable. For now... A 4 lb sledge, a block of wood, and some rivets. The tailgate wouldn’t open, but now it opens fine and the body lines are perfect. I’m super lucky that there was no visible paint damage or any body damage (after some backwoods body work my dad taught me years ago). It is kind of nerve racking to be beating on a 2020 $55k vehicle with a sledge hammer and a block of wood.

Tailgate before. I didn’t notice that till later when I tried to open it. That scared me, but I got lucky that my backwoods, basically free fix worked like a charm. I mean, it might have opened, but there was resistance and I didn’t want to try it and damage the paint and/or bend anything.

Had an incident with a rock. I didn’t do it, but whatever, we had fun. First truck I’ve ever owned without a steel rear bumper. I should be steel, so ordering a Rubicon steel rear bumper unless I come across a Rubicon take off locally. Front bumper take offs are way easier to find.
