First day impressions are favorable. Quality of the material and workmanship are good-- installation is a bit of a work-out. Glad I had an extra pair of hands. FYI: for the rear, you will need to unbolt the middle seatbelt. Also, good luck finding installation instructions for the rear seats. Didn't come on the box, not on their site digitally and no installation vids on youtube that I could find. Not too complicated, but wish I had realized about the middle seatbelt earlier in the process. These things are form-fitted and it's tough to get them on. Look great, though, and love the color match.
I received my set of Bartact seat covers. Got the fronts installed this weekend but did not have time to get to the rear. Was planning for next weekend...and yeah...I can find absolutely zero instructions of any kind....thanks for the info on the seat belt. Sounds like rear is gonna be a project.

I know they have a video out there showing the install, but I think it is on a JL

Yeah, the only rear seat install instructions or videos I have seen are for JL. While fronts are same between JL and JT....the rear is entirely different. There were not even any written instruction included for the JT rear seat covers. So will be trial and error i guess.

Man that sucks. Expensive product to just have to go in blind on.

Yeah...was really disappointed with that aspect. They also took 12+ weeks to deliver compared to the estimated 4-5 weeks....The covers themselves are well made and quality thou. I know I will be happy once I have them installed. But the complete lack of instructions as well as long delay leaves bad taste. Hell, even the included instructions for the fronts were pretty useless and unreadable for me ....I had to consult youtube.

I have now sent 3 emails to Bartact asking about instructions for JT rear and not gotten a single reply. :(

I hopefully I will be a able to figure it out this weekend sometime.

Thats pretty bad. Have you tried harassing them on social media? Also that wait is just crazy, did they at least give you updates as to when and why?

would have been easier to just go to a local upholstery shop and do any material seat upholstery you want.

How do they feel to sit on? hot at all? what about when they get direct sun for a while?
Alright, I've had plenty of instances of jumping in during a hot day where it had been out in the sun at this point. Even had a few days in the triple digits. Today, jumped in at 102 on the dash (ambient temp was 91 according to my weather app), but y'know what? Both my wife and I agree, the Bartact seat covers are actually cooler than the factory cloth seats. Don't even get me started on leather seats in the desert... (had them in my Commander. Opted out of them on the gladiator...) But, no scorch! And they're still holding up great. I definitely recommend them, even at the price. Bartact has a good product, all said and done. Now, if we could just get them to put up a rear seat cover install vid...

My PRP finally came in and I couldn’t be happier. The quality is amazing. They can get a little hot with the top off but they cool very quick. Love not having to worry about the kids spilling anything or getting caught in a shower having the factory cloth. Plus, they look great! Would definitely buy again.

Leather is terrible in the sun, I left the door open on my van for a few minutes the other day. In that time the seat was hot on my leg. So glad I don't have leather.

Amazing to know that they stay cooler. I had to put the doors and top fully back on the JT since we are taking the camper out tomorrow. My kids were legitimately confused and asking what I did to the Jeep, lol.

Really, really love the look of those. Sadly the fact that they heat up scares me, the carolina sun can be brutal. Do they clean easily?

Thanks, I played around with the customizer a lot before settling on these. They get hot but not unbearable...coming from a cloth seat they are obviously going to get hotter but I think it is worth it. They are very easy to clean. Some of the shoe marks the kids put on the back already came off with a dry towel.

Anyone got Khaki or Olive Bartacts? Trying to match the gator green but can't decide. This damn color changes so much based on the lighting!
