All 35s are not created equally; Anyone running Super Swampers

I have seen a lot of threads and have friends that say 35s will absolutely fit on a stock JTR. The problem with that statement is not all 35s are the same. Running BFG 35x12.5x17 is completely different than running Super Swamper 35x14.5x17 IROK ND radials.

Is anyone running tires wider than 12.5 without a lift or at least a leveling kit? Obviously new wheels would likely be critical but curious if anyone has any experience with the wider tires.

imo if you ran swamper you probably wont be able to clear them cause they are pretty damn wide,you could possibly clear them with a leveling kit,but other than that,thats all i gotta say

Actually sitting in front of my Jeep guy's shop looking at 2.5 to 3.5 inches of lift for that reason.

Hey you never know,but also i was thinking you may (keyword may)be able to fit them with a leveling kit and a front fender chop kit from American Adventure labs,again just my personal though

I would be speculating, but I think you could add a 1” bump stop and run them. Leveling is always good...
