In a moment of pure weakness and thinking I needed a full-size truck for the space (kids, house, etc.) I traded in my 2020 Gladiator for a 2020 Ram Laramie. UGH. I feel like I want to puke. I literally regret it so much I can’t sleep at night and don’t want to drive the Ram. I had some equity going into the Ram so my immediate goal is to get back into a Gladiator ASAP and chalk this up to a life lesson. The 2021’s look great so I’m thinking Red or Blue and possibly manual this time. I might try and move up slightly from the Sports S I had too. People who have a manual - you happy with it?
Never again will I stray from Gladys! (That’s what my kids called the Gladiator) I’m a dumba$$. Until we meet again.

I will one-up you. I special ordered my Gladiator. Only vehicle in my life that I ordered. Got it EXACTLY the way I wanted it. Put 14,000 miles on it in less than a year, then got the itch really bad for that new Gen 3 EcoDiesel. Didn't have any concrete date for the release in the Gladiator, so I traded into a 2020 Ram 1500.

Now, my Ram is a SWEET truck and I do love it. But.... my cousin's mother ended up buying my old Gladiator. So now I have the pain of seeing the Gladiator at family cook-outs and car shows and just around town in general and every time I see it I want to kick my self. UGH!!!

It's hard to not be upset, but I have to keep telling myself that I've been very blessed and there are a LOT of guys who would love to drive a brand new Ram truck. I'm leasing so I'll give it a year or two and see if Jeep adds anything cool to the Gladiator and then I'll maybe switch back to a JT again. Life goes on....

Ouch! I’m sorry that happened, but it makes me feel a little better! Ha. It’s like seeing an old ex! We’ll get back there man! Thanks!

I did the exact opposite. Traded in my Ram 1500 for the Gladiator. Very happy

So that is who bought that truck. Heck it was gone right when I was getting into the market for a JT

You’re not a bonehead. I bought both. They are completely different trucks that do completely different things. I like my 2020 Ram Laramie 1500 especially for long trips with the family and lots of heavy cargo, but I still prefer to drive my Gladiator for daily driving.

Thanks man! Let’s see if I can work my way out of this unscathed!

I drive by the dealership on my way home and tease my self with the idea of a big ol' ram, or a super duty at the ford dealer next to the jeep dealer. But my wife is due for a new car next so I have a good reason to hold off.

I rolled from my 2019 Rebel to a 2021 Gladiator, my rebel is a beautiful big truck but it’s been problematic and I don’t use it to full capability...the Gladiator is so much better for DD, less fatiguing.

I'm looking at buying a Ram, something with a V8 in it. I love my JT but I want something that has some growl when I drive it as well. My 2017 mustang 5.0 gives me some growl but doesn't carry enough people. As soon as I find the right one I'll be buying one, but I'm keeping my JT as well, I'm never getting rid of that Truck, Jeep combo, that would be crazy.

I have a manual, and love it. That was a big selling point for me. You will hear some don’t like it...first is too short (but needed if you crawl) and after I put on 35’s I never use 6th gear usually 4th sometimes 5th on HWY. definitely take one for a test drive but if you enjoy driving a manual, it is a pleasure.
