WhatExit? Man, you know I enjoy your wild and sarcastic humor but some don’t see it and its taken to be a bit too strong. Gotta understand some of the frustration from the OP though as well.

caint we all jis git a long.

As for Samuel, I am not sure if it has been pointed out yet but I think what the dealership really means by charging you is that they can’t warranty the lift kit install that may have been done by a private company, yourself or another dealership. Although if you have your original sales paperwork they may cover the lift install if it was done by another dealership. As for a rental, yeah unfortunately those aren’t usually covered for a TSB but if you bought the truck there the dealership May hook you up with one.

other than that good luck with whatever path you end up taking.
Thanks buddy. I'm just hoping to get this dealt with. I know I might be acting like a Nancy about it but it's incredibly frustrating to take time out of my day three times in a week to get work done and never getting any help.

Like I said, I love the truck and hope I can get this resolved so I can enjoy driving it.

Our Jeep trucks are the baddest things on the planet in my opinion. I hate that anyone has had a problem with it and for some of the boneheaded dealerships out there that take the stance they take. Have some patience and get JeepCares involved and I think you will get the results you want.

He posted his pleas for help. I responded by making suggestions as to how he could HELP HIMSELF resolve this situation with his Gladiator.

Like most Karens he's not happy with help and suggestions. He wants someone to fix it for him.

He's old enough to buy and own a Jeep and when he has a problem he's ready to dump it for a Chevy Buffalo.

Sorry not sorry. This is on him
For this particular fix I am at the mercy of the dealership. The dealership from which I bought my Jeep is 5 hours away because that is where I got the best deal. Service is notoriously bad in DFW, particularly during this time when dealerships can make more money per hour doing work that is not the TSB fix. I am on here asking for help, not to be belittled by some guy I don't know with a weird pervy avatar who suggests that I "pull my panties out of my vagina" as a solutions n to my problem and says that I am a Karen who lives in a basement.

You don't get to go out of your way to repeatedly insult someone and then say "oh I was just trying to help!" And become justified.

Don't you have Facebook, reddit, or even myspace where you can sit at the computer and pick fights with people and get their attention to make you feel significant? Fights that actually prove a point? Please stop trying to talk to me on this thread I have no further interest in communicating with you.

Well I'm new here, but not new to the amazing and friendly world of car forums:LOL:

I do want to say thanks to the OP and others in here for this thread. As a result I knew going in about the TSB, and had the dealer I just purchased my JTR from complete that work, prior to installing the Mopar lift. If not I may have been in the same boat.

It’s really strange as to how our experience differs. When I bought my JT, my local dealer sent a dr 3 hours to pick it from another dealer and drove it back....I never even asked. Then when I asked about the TSB they said “ok”. I won’t get my parts for two months though because they have so many on back order.

MY JT has a lift and after market tires too.

that’s the upper Midwest for you I guess

I have had the TSB done at my dealership with no issues with the 2" MOPAR lift running 37's. They looked at it said yup we will order the parts and 10 days later it was done and what a night and day difference it was atleast for mine.

That's exactly how it should work. It's unbelievable how some stores make you jump through hoops.

Just dropped the truck off at Grapevine Jeep Chrysler Dodge this morning at 7:00. We will see how it goes. If they refuse to realize there is a problem, then I have decided plan #4 is to call the dealership I bought the truck from in Lubbock. I am hoping that they will have mercy on me and just order the dang part after I tell them the story. My mother-in-law works with the dealership and the GM is a good friend, so I am hoping they will help me get this done without having to drive all the way there for an initial appointment.

I was about to go there. Guess not! My Daughter experienced the Same 5h17y treatment at Frisco CDJR. Guess I’ll see what they say in McKinney

Agreed. While this is not a recall, it really is a no-brainer for a dealership to fix under warranty (if you are still under warranty). Yeah, yeah, they only get a fixed fee, but if the dealership refuses, I'd let them know that would be the last time I set foot in their service department for any reason. I do understand that is easier for those who live relatively close to multiple dealers, but for those that do: make your feelings known with your wallet.

Get in touch with JeepCares.

Do not install anymore "aftermarket" parts like Steering Stabilizers or Track Bars. That will take you further from a successful warranty claim.
Has anyone had any success at dealership with tsb with these parts already installed?

I had to remove the Synergy steering stabilizer before they would do the TSB or pay them 250 to remove it due to it being a non OEM part. Took me 30 min in the driveway to take it off.
