To update. I put the colorado tyger cover on that I had. Fits fine, and covers well. It really is a good looking cover for a great price.
I bought the Tyger trifold on craigslist used for a couple months that came off another Gladiator. I bought some weatherstripping for the back rail. I have about $82 invested and think it is better than the Truxedo I had on my Tundra. No idea if it will last as long but it functions better. Very happy

May be a topic for a different thread, but wondering if since the cover from the colorado fits that maybe other colorado accessories would too? Specifically thinking about side steps/running boards.

No, i doubt that one. Just so happens that the beds are similar enough in length and width.

Has anyone tried any other Colorado covers?
The Tygers have crept up in price, but I see a few others that are still fairly cheep.

* I do see that the Gator does not seem to fit/work.

Will any Colorado tonneau cover work on the Gladiator? I know this thread is about cheap covers but I’m wondering if the Lund Genesis Elite will work. I prefer the twill to the vinyl

No, these that do tend to sit on top of the bed rails completely. Only the brackets go over the insides.

I think there was another mentioned in this thread (Gator) that did not work and the frame or the latch mechanism hung over inside the bed.

Im seeing it for $150 on ebay. Do you have a link to it for $115?
It looks great.
Sorry the one I bought is now sold out, all I see is the Gladiator specific one for $149 aslo.

Still not a bad price.
You can make an offer, but it seems the most they accept is about 5 bucks off.

Well crap. I really want the twill but the only one I can find for the gladiator is $500 from bestop. Guess I could always order it from Amazon and return it if it doesn’t work

For these roll-up covers with velcro, do they have cross bars that support the cover?

I am on the fence between the tri-fold and the rollup. How sturdy is the velcro on the rollup, I am in Texas and heat is an issue.

My roll up cover has cross bars that support the cover. They do a great job of keeping the cover from sagging or flopping in the wind while driving. I went with the roll up because I wanted to be able to use the full bed if necessary, and I also think it looks a little cleaner installed than some of the soft trifold covers. I haven't had mine long enough to speak to the durability of the velcro, but it seems well made, and I don't think the heat will affect it in any way.
