If I wanted to buy some spare parts to keep on hand in the garage, what would I get? That is, what are the parts most likely to break. This would be for someone who has say 35s or 37s, does moderate off-roading (no rock climbing). What parts wear out faster from the larger tires and wheeling?

So far I can think of:
Ball joints
U-Joints
Axle shafts
Brake Calipers
Drive shaft
Tie rods

Anything else? I'm trying to have a list of things that will likely break and I not having to wait to get replacement parts.

Was just thinking.... it is is good to have say 8 to 10 of Omix 11609.41 Fender Flare Clips. ($.99 each)

These clips, are specific for the JL/JLU/JT can be hard to come by quickly. JK fender flare clips are not the same, so remember that when ordering fender flare clips.

IF you ever dislodge... 8-) ...a fender flare or need to pull the passenger side fender flare to replace the Auxiliary battery, you will be glad you have spare fender clips around. Just pulling the front flare can see you breaking one or two fender flare clips... Again they are hard to come by quickly..

Oh, on that oil filter housing cap, I mentioned in my last post.... good to have cause even if you know to torque the cap correctly, they are prone to break...

Also .... an N1 - N2 bypass jumper is a plus to carry around in your JT.
Yep, have spare fender flare clips (probably 5 or so) in the Jeep from when I had the Rubicon takeoffs installed, and all the ones on the Sport Max Tow Flares in storage.

What's the bypass jumper do? Some sort of cable?

Bypasses some of the electrical stuff so both batteries can get a charge during jump starting.

What size fuse do you use in the jumper (C1)?

I actually don’t have a fuse in the wire I keep on hand. I stole that diagram and keep it on my phone for reference.
Thx - thought it would be a good idea to have it already wired and just need to slip in the fuse to activate...

Great list. I meant to start something like this a couple weeks ago after busting my steering stabilizer on the trail. Definitely worth picking up an OEM stabilizer for like $40 if you aren’t going to relocate the thing. It’s in a very vulnerable spot and will make for a slow ride home if you have to pull it on the trail.

Should and do are two different things. Had to replace calipers on my Honda element, they got stuck and messed up
The small problem with it is are you going to haul both or all four around with you or just keep at home? On the XJ,MJ,TJ it's normally just one side that goes "bad" when your on a road trip a few hours at least from home. A buddy of mine gave me a half set of brake pads for that reason after his caliper locked up when he was in Atlanta. Him and his son was there in parking lot having to do a "quick" swap n bleed brakes.
Not "trouble shooting" something to think about. When I was going rock crawling often I carried spare ball joints and U-joints and a C-press to change them and a hitch mounted vice plus I didn't over build the driveshafts I'd rather blow out a u-joints on it than thrash a axle or something else expensive and hard to do.

Its been 2 over years since the JL hit the road? Not a single Jeep 2018+ has come into the shop with a drivetrain/undercar breakdown or brake job to date. I dont plan on putting anything on the shelf.......
