Hey folks, I'm a newby here and have a question I haven't found the answer to by viewing the threads.
I've ordered a set of LED surface mount lights I'm planning on putting in the rear bumper where the reflectors currently are. They draw .3A at 12VDC each.
Mounting is the easy part. The question I have is this... If I tie into the reverse circuit directly to power these, will I get any kind of error code and should I wire in a diode? With such a small amp draw I'm thinking no, but don't know for sure.
Here's what I ordered.

Thanks in advance
