No, seriously, the YJs are cooler now than before. But this is not the direction I’d go. (But I really did like the 2-stick Spicer 18 cases). To each his own, I say!

They should've made the headlights a bit narrower and removed the pinch in the outside slots. I do like the less-recessed headlights: perhaps they'd gather less snow & ice.
But dammit, after they went to all the trouble, they really should've moved the running lights into the grille where they belong!

.... I would also love to have a steel bumper instead of this plastic crape. I tried to mount some lights and there is nothing firm to attach too. SMH

I have an Overland so plastic bumper. I got the Mopar light brackets that bolt directly to the frame on each side. Then put a light bar of my own design between the Mopar brackets. Everything as solid as you could ask for.

Here is what the brackets look like.

Close-up of bracket installed. Only a small part of it is visible. You have to cut a hole in the air dam.

The light bar is made out of 1/2" thick aluminum bar stock. A piece of the bar stock is epoxied underneath at each end to raise it up a bit.

This shows how I shaped the bar for the light bases.
