I know I’m going to catch grief for this question. Why go larger wheels and tires

So I found a great sale on some reservoir shocks that I expect will improve my ride quality, but they require a 3.5” (from Sport) lift. I’ve already removed the rake and put on Mojave 33s so I figure this will only make me an inch taller. When the 33s wear out, I’ll probably move to 35s. Its my daily driver so it’s not exactly practical to go to 35s, but at least they aren’t 37s. It’ll probably look like I’m over compensating. But oh well. I think I’m going to like it.

Do you even Jeep, Bro?
I drive very fast on dirt, but I’m not going over 6 ft rocks. So to answer your question maybe. I also live in the mountains where deep snow is also a factor, although not this year.

Plus if my fuel economy gets any worse I’m going to need to drive alongside a refueling tanker.

Larger tires with I believe a low load rating on 17" wheels should help cushion the ride. I went from factory 33 Falkens to 37/17 KO2s and the difference was significant.
