Ouch, I have a Harley as well
Yeah...I didn't get the Harley dig either...

Regardless, glad to hear you're on the road to resolution. Somewhat shocking that it's taken ~7 months...

I just looked back on it. It reminded me of those Harley owners (most of my family) who act like you are just being a whiney bitch instead of hearing there may be a problem. In all fairness there are Toyota and Indian owners that do it as well. And I was frustrated. I love most everything about the gladiator and will get this resolved one way or another.

well after having their star team work with the dealer, they say it's a homeland problem and I need to call homeland. WTF?
I have tried to program this to 3 different openers with no luck, the dealer tried to program it to their garage door opener and no luck. Jeep says it works because they are getting an rf signal when they press the button. I have to go pick it up tomorrow. I guess I will call Jeep or something. They took care of everything else and I love the Gladiator but this is ridiculous.

Mine works really well. The range is greater from my Homelink than the actual remote. Does your garage door opener use a “rolling code”?
I got mine to work but the range is not very good. I have to be within 5 ft of door straight on for it to catch a signal. If I'm off to the side it won't engage. No real big deal for me though as my neighborhood has lots of car breaking and if I park out of signal at least no one can get access to garage by just pushing the button.

I don't think this thread turned out like the "wireless network engineer" intended it to.

I told him that but it is what it is. I’m going to test drive a gladiator I think.

Maybe the issue is a few people’s garage door opener, and not the Jeep’s remote?
Uh, no. 4 garage door openers so far and it will not program to any. I even bought a new remote for mine and it programmed right away, like it should, like the last three cars have done.
