Bed lights

Dumb question and I'm sure I'm doing something dumb. Is there a way the lights in the bed can be shut off unless I turn them on? I've hit the button several times by my fog lights. When I open the door it comes on. What am
I doing wrong. Be easy on me lol

The bed lights turn on and off with the cab lights. Outside of this, the bed light button will turn them on and off only when the truck is running and the cab lights are off. There is no method provided, that I am aware of, to stop them from turning on.

I do wish that the bed lights were more user friendly. Being able to turn them on with out the truck running would be nice for loading or unloading at night.

Agreed with you. Been nice to a have switch from the factory in the bed

I do wish that the bed lights were more user friendly. Being able to turn them on with out the truck running would be nice for loading or unloading at night.

Just turn the interior lights on with the rheostat on the dash and the bed lights will stay on till you turn them back off.

So, with the newest update for the Tazer Mini, users can now control the operation of the bed lights, via a button press sequence via the key fob.

I was watching a video on the Ram TRX it appears to have the same bed lights but the drivers side light has a switch on it to turn it on and off, wish the JT had that.

I ended up using 2 on each side as I wanted them hidden.

Looks nice. I'm planning to add some bed lights to my rig also.

Thanks. They'll illuminate the whole bed if you install them on the sides of the bed. I tucked mine up high facing downward so you couldn't see the strips. The picture is also a little deceiving as you can easily see everything in the bed when it's dark out.

Here is another alternative. I bought these from HD. It's LED and motion activated. I have used it last weekend while camping. I like it a lot! Amazon has it in black. I plan to put a total of 4. One every corner.
