It's a "Jeep thing" you either are about a jeep or you're not, in other words, hence the creaking and what have you. When you are considering a vehicle you might consider say a Ram truck vs a Chevy truck. Maybe a 4 runner vs a Nissan truck, a Jeep Gladiator is a category on it's own with maybe vs a Wrangler or even another type of Jeep

Let him borrow yours for a week or weekend. That should help make his mind up.

To me it’s the fun aspect.... one of the best things about my jku and now gladiator are with the kids making errands into fun trips. That is the difference imo.
Go top down, sometimes doors off to go to Lowe’s or Home Depot ... lots of other trips you do anyway but with the “jeep” it becomes a little adventure.

Then there are the things you likely wouldn’t do without the jeep. Sunset drives to watch the sunset, summer evening cruise.... commuting to work with no doors!

of course it your not going to do any of that then.... but we do jeep stuff all the time, esp. with covid

This. I like cars with character. Most of mine have had it. The Jeep has character. Every vehicle I have gotten that did not have character I despised. I have 4 boys. We make it work as a DD. The Ram is nice. They are different vehicles. You can't beat taking the kids wheeling with the top and doors off or just cruising around town.

I have 3 kids: 6, 9, 12. They all fit with plenty of room. In fact there's more room in my JT then the back bench seat in my 2008 Suburban.

I have a 2018 f-150 that I love for long distance trips and when I need more space. I have a Gladiator because the doors and top come off and I've always loved Jeeps since my first Wrangler in 93'. Tell your brother to by a used Gladiator next year and keep the Ram

I had a 2019 Ram Rebel quad cab and there's more passenger room in the Gladiator. It's a little narrower but significantly more leg room.

The Ram will ride and drive better, quieter, haul more, tow more, but it is also very large as a daily driver. I went from a PowerWagon to the Rebel to a JTR and am quite pleased.

My brother put a deposit down on a 2021 Ram 1500 crew cab big horn! He’s been back and forth between the Ram and Gladiator for about 6 months now! Anyone have any experience with both and can provide some insight? He’s got 2 kids and is worried about the space and the ride in general of the Gladiator which is why he finally left a deposit. He called me today and isn’t sure he made the right move! It’s still refundable! He loves the Gladiator, but thinks the Ram is the “safer” pick even though it’s like every other truck and not a head turner. He said my Gladiator creaks and rattles a bit and is obviously smaller. He loves the whole idea of having a Gladiator though. What do you all think?
Honestly if he’s not sure why he wants the Gladiator over the Ram then probably the Ram.

I just rid a RAM Rebel 1500-- reason, 12 mpg with the 5.7 hemi e-torque. For his reasons, prob a better choice (huge interior, both width and inside). Actually bigger back seats than the 2500... if he gets air ride, VERY smooth on road, but not as good for off-road. Comfort and ride, unrivaled, but not as cool or good off-road, and only fair mileage...

Would have been nice if you had JT vs. Ram 1500 crew cab big horn in the subject to tell us what the threads about. Not everyone can read every thread.

The JTR vs. the Powerwagon is a good debate.

Now why would I do that? That’s like a girl walking into the room naked right away. Ever heard of a tease?!?! ??

I took my Gladiator in for squeaks and the dealership replaced the rear sway bar links. Your Gladiator shouldn't creak or rattle.
