Is my hood latch wonky or am I doing something wrong?

Just thought I’d update. Replaced them with Rugged Ridge aftermarket latches.

Still looks crooked and now too high. Take your originals back to the dealership and demand they repair properly under warranty.

Because they were crooked to the point I didn't even fully trust them. For me, that's unacceptable from the factory on a brand new special-ordered truck.
Still looks crooked and now too high. Take your originals back to the dealership and demand they repair properly under warranty.
I think a lot of that was the angle of the photo. I didn't take calipers to it or anything but the drilled holes don't appear to be off center. And these look straighter to the eye than the stock ones did -at least from the front it isn't obvious like before. (don't have a before pic from the front)

Mine haven't popped off. If I was that concerned, I'd have gone to a dealership that would have listened to me and fixed it. Either by replacing the latches, or straightening them if that was the concern.
