I just swapped some 35" Patagonias for a set of 37" Mastercraft MXT. I have a 2.5" RC front level kit, and .75" rear Daystar spacers. I added Mopar 2" lift lower front control arms. My buddy bought the Milestars, and I got a great deal on the MTXs, so it didn't cost me a ton of money to swap. The MTXs are also one of the lightest MTs out there. They weigh less than some 35's.
I don't know why I did it, I just wanted to. Lol. That and I dragged my belly a couple times offroad, and wanted the extra inch the 37's provide over the 35's. I may go back to 35's when these wear out. We will see how it does offroad. So far, I can't really tell the difference. Stock 4.10 gears and tire size adjusted with a Tazer Mini. It rides a little nicer actually. Still weighing options on a complete spring lift.

how’s the 37’s working for you? Also what’s the tires size, back spacing and offset in your wheel? I like how it stands!

Albizzle, I have a stock Rubicon with 315/70R17's ie. 35 x 11.5" on stock wheels and love them. No rubbing, very little difference from stock 33's but I needed a little diff clearance for some rock crawling. My only additional protection is Rusty's rear lower control arm skids, which are a must. Like you, I wanted a full belly pan but once I crawled under the truck, the stock skids will do just fine and if you hit something higher than them, you are in trouble anyways. After every major adventure, I crawl under the truck with a can of black paint and touch up the scrapes. Low speed scrapes are not a problem high speed -even 5 mph- impacts can ruin things.
I kept the stock 33" for a spare figuring that is enough to get me to a shop. I am also trying to save as much weight as practical. We camp with a RTT etc..
If you want the lift go for it. I am cheap and short so a lift isn't in my immediate future. I did not reprogram for bigger tires either, I just watch my speed (on paper it is about a 6% difference or 3-4 mph at 65) and know that I am getting slightly better mpg than calculated. KurtP did an excellent thread on 20 mpg on 37"s that is worth reading/watching before pulling the trigger on either.

37x12.5x17 So far I like them. No wobbles or shimmy. Still very quiet for an MT. Getting 16 mpg average. Wheels are Quadratec Rubicon Extreme 17x9. Can't remember exact bs/offset, but it tells you on their website. I bought them because they were on sale for $99 ea!

I get my lift, 37’s & wheels on Monday. I’m starting to get excited but nervous at the same time. I’ll check out your wheels on line. Thanks for replying!

Just had mine installed! AEV 2.5” Dual Sport on a Gas JTR. 35” Falken Wildpeak AT3, 17” Icon Rebounds with 4.5 backspace and Steersmart adjustable track bar.

I think it looks great. I was worried the lift would eat the 35’s but it doesn’t (at least I don’t think)

I'm in the same boat... I put 35"s on AEV wheels the day after I got my Rubi but I've noticed the slightest bit of rubbing on the passenger side at full lock. Recently, I've been looking at the AEV spacer lift and longer OEM arms. I work for the blimp company and will put 37's on whenever they release Duratracs in that size but for the time being, plan to rock my current tires and spacer lift.
