Would you guys recommend installing the sensors or leave them off. I'm not ever going to air down my tires so that's not the reason for not installing, it just seams these things are always blinking on in our below freezing temps all winter long. Same thing happens in all our vehicles like false alarms. I have a tazer on order and can delete the sensors onboard. Dealer wants $200 and it's not the money it's the do I really need them factor.

Unless you have a state vehicle inspection mandate for them, do whatever you want.

I used to always delete the TPMS, but these days I keep them in. They are very handy for detecting small leaks around the valve stems or from small punctures that are hard to see and may leak slowly.

I couldnt live without them, the impact of temperature on larger volume tires is quite large, and if you don't have it within a decent range it can make driving like being on skates. You in the northeast probably won't have the temp fluctuations that I see but I couldn't do it.

After buying 4 Kendal Klever 35x12.50x17 tires and Mammoth Synister wheels mounted and balanced with tpms sensors installed from Extreme Terrian, the sensors didn't work. I won't go into the hassle I had with ET trying to resolve the issue. I ended up taking my stock sensors out of the stock wheels and tires and putting them in new wheels. Problem solved. I also have an ECRI tool and that didn't resolve it either, but it sure made quick work out of resetting speedometer.

Depends if they mandate them, ticket otherwise. If they ever check that is, such as an inspection state, here in Michigan they'd never really check most likely. Otherwise then it's just a reference. I put them on mine so I can at a glance check the pressure now and again without doing it manually in the nasty weather during the winter months.
