What are these 4 wires that go to the tailgate brakelight?

Well I wasn't able to determine if black was in fact a ground, but it seems to work. white with green stripe from the tailgate 4 pin plug is positive for brake, no signal for turn signals.

Now my topper has a 4th brake light.

Just finished successfully wiring the brake light on my canopy camper and your photo was the one solid answer after a ridiculously long search. Thank you! Why doesn't Alu-Cab include a simple wiring diagram?

Awesome! Glad I could help. No idea why Alu-Cab doesn't have a wiring diagram. I still haven't hooked up the LED lights that came with my Alu-Cab.....I should probably do that this spring.

No need, got mine working. I used the trailer hitch wiring.

Can you describe how yours works hooking it into the trailer harness? The trailer has brakes and flashers on a common wire.

I ended up getting a different LED strip that had running, brake, turn signal and reverse light. It came set up to wire into the trailer wiring with an extra wire for the reverse light. I bought a pigtail harness that plugs into the back of the 7 pin harness and then has a flat four pigtail. It worked great.

I like that. I added lights to my AluCab too, but the strip would have been easier.

@garzilla ......well my Alucab brake light isn't working at all. now I gotta figure out why, shorted wire, broken led strip, blown fuse?

Are all 3 of your brake lights that you wired according to my photo still working?
I've finally got some time tomorrow to figure out what is wrong with mine. Just making sure my fix that worked for you guys is still working.
