Northern Jersey Dealers No Neg!

Ok so im about the pull the trigger on a Gladiator Rubicon an im finding that no dealer in NJ is willing to budge off of MSRP using the computer chip shortage and low inventory as the reason. Anyone else seeing this issue?

Should I wait this out? I do not need its a want but I also do not want to get ripped.

The dealer near me in North Jersey has zero gladiators. So if you can find one on a lot somewhere, I bet they would fetch a premium.

Edit: Just looked at their website and it says they have 1 Rubicon but they are showing the stock photos of it so I doubt they actually have it on the lot.

I will be ditching my 2021 Grand Cherokee with 2k miles on it Its great but was a BAD decision pandemic purchase and ive had a bunch of them and want something fun...It stays parked and I drive my wife jeep most of the time ...Dealers are willing to pay me what I want for the GC so that is a plus.

I didn realize there was a dealer in MD that offers that. Might save me some money instead of driving to Tennessee. I might give them a call later today. I’m waiting for 22’s to come out as well. Thanks!

Jim Shulack at Baker jeep in Princeton NJ did include 1000 rebate But they would not budge of MSRP at all .....told me to go else where if I could get a better deal

So I just called Criswell and Leon stated the 7% was like the first week in May, that deal has ended. Till the end of this week it’s 5%. He also said that 2022s would not start being built till the 2nd week in December b/c of this chip shortage. So you probably won’t see them till February.

When I purchased in February 2021 it was 4% off (mention forum), +2% off (finance), +1% off (FCA affiliate, Tread Lightly) and then whatever cash rebates Jeep offers at the time of delivery. So I got 7% off invoice and an additional $1500 rebate off that (14% off MSRP total). Leon was mostly great and everything worked out in the end, but know your numbers going into the finance office. They were wrong or knowingly lying and we had to make corrections to the bill multiple times.

As stated above, it seems that the discount is now less and the building process will take much longer. So, maybe buy now if you do find a good deal!

No. It actually sits up 1” higher in the front than the Rubicon does.
