I did the same thing with the valve stem caps. (Like the look)

If those are the aluminum ones, you might want to put some anti-seize lubricant on the threads. The dissimilar metals will start to seize. Luckily I checked my tire pressure before it was too late and was just barely able to get my caps off.

I wasn't thinking about that at all. Thanks a ton for pointing that out. I just removed mine and put the OEMs back on. Not sure how many times I'd need to apply the lubricant, but if more than once I'm better off not risking it. I tend to forget to do stuff like that.

Seats look great. Curious, how long was the install? Do you drop off in the morning and pick up that afternoon or is it a couple day thing? No Katzkin vendors nearby for me so I'm trying to figure out how the logistics would work for an out of town install.

I can tell you from experience. I did katzkin in my Tacoma, was very easy to do. Got myself a set of hog ring pliers and rings. It took me a day to do fronts and backs. Installed heat in the seats and wired that up the next day. If you have some mechanical skills and take your time you can save yourself some cheddar.

Thanks.....It took a day for a Katzkin installer. They are not really "covers" so it requires the removal of the cloth before installing the Katzkin leather. I dropped it off at 8am and they were finishing it up when I picked it up at 5. All the dealers I spoke with gave me the same timeline (1 whole day). Although the labor price varied greatly $600-$1800....So it can pay to get several quotes .... I had to drive an hour but saved $1200...

BTW....If Katzkin site shows no local installers......Mopar/Jeep does sell Katzkin leather seats. The dealer doesn't install but farms it out to a local vendor who will be familiar with the install. I'd go to the dealer and ask parts/service who they use to install Katzkin locally... LInk to the Katzkin Mopars sells in case dealer is not aware Mopar/Jeep selles them also..

I changed out my DIY rail system (went from the larger to more narrow) and figured why not match it to the rest of my orange. It is under the tonneau cover so not seen but mostly by me which is all that really matters.

Purchased a bunch of grab handles over the year for various Jeeps.... These are high quality handles for the money!!

Added hood & tailgate blackouts with a topographic pattern, & orange outline over the last couple weekends.

Was able to wrap the backup camera bezel to match as well.

Thaa as t looks fantastic. I’ve been looking for some good topographic decals for my JTO. Where did you get yours?

Thanks, I ordered them from Don at Pixel Decals.
Both of these with the topographic pattern aren't currently listed on his web page, but I called him to see if he could make them as a custom order, which he was happy to do.

He currently doesn't have a pre-cut kit for the tailgate blackout, so he sent me the bulk material that I cut to fit during installation on the truck using 3M knifeless tape.

He said that some time this summer he was planning on making a custom pre-cut tailgate blackout kit for this application.
Am super happy with the results. Don is great to work with, and quick to answer the phone if you have any questions.
