What the heck is this? Under Passenger seat

Anyone know what the heck this little bracket is /does? It popped out when I was taking my carpets out. It’s under my passenger seat. Guessing some type of wiring clamp but I can’t tell for what -where? Hopefully not important but wondering if anyone else has coming me across this or knows. Thanks

After seeing that I would head to the first dealer open in your area and trade that gladiator in. its probably something somebody at the assembly plant dropped or a cover for something I don’t see any wires coming out of it.

Looks like there’s a flaw at the top of the shorter leg that caused it to fall out…

Great trash can filler. Minor trim pieces falling off probably covered under warranty, or just pretend it never existed.

Front side, there's a spring clip that goes on each side to hold it in.

To give someone a job of designing parts, someone a job to program a plastic mold injector machine, someone a job to deliver the raw materials to that machine, someone a job to retrieve the finished materials and ship them, someone a job to account for the piece, someone a job to collect money and distribute said money to said someones... I'm sure there's more, but you get the idea.
