I am looking at the Teraflex 2.5” Alpine RT2 Suspension system for my 2021 Gladiator Rubicon, and wondering if anyone has info (good, bad, or otherwise) regarding this kit. Seems like it has everything I need, but wondering about wheel offset (will my stock Rubicon 17” wheel work without spacers?) and any other pitfalls I may run into. This is my first Gladiator build and I can’t/don’t want to learn the hard way! Any feedback would be GREATLY appreciated.

Did you ever get feedback on this kit? I'm thinking of installing the 2.5 spacer lift but am also curious about keeping stock tires/wheels.

No. Pretty disappointed that I got zero response! So I did a TON of research and questioned several manufacturers with regard to retaining the use of my stock wheels. The general consensus was that unless I used wheel spacers (which I am not a fan of) I would be stuck with having to purchase new wheels. I opted to go with Clayton 2.5” lift which required wheels with 4.5” or more offset. I ordered 17”X9” Method wheels and 35” Falken M/T tires. Should look real and perform really nice. Still waiting on all parts from back order to do install. I will post pics when finished.

That's too bad man but thanks for the response. I'm not going to be doing any (serious) off-roading so I may take a risk with the 2.5 with stock wheels and see what happens.

Yah, I do some more serious off road stuff but not a “crawler” kind of guy. Mostly back country 4x stuff. Probably spend more time on pavement, but like the look and the option for tougher terrain if necessary. Let me know how the stockers work out for you. I am curious to know as I am giving my stock Rubi stuff to my niece for upgrade on her ’21 Wrangler Sahara. Good luck with your build!

Finished lift/tire combo...
2.5" Clayton premium lift, Falkon 35" tires on 17" Method wheels w/-12mm offset, Falcon 3.2 fully adjustable shocks. Very happy with how it came out! Still toying with tire pressure/shock setting for optimum ride, but so much better than stock!!

Please post pics when you can, I’m ordering a 22 as soon as orders open. I already have a set of method 701s and a set of 37in bfg k02s. But I’m having trouble deciding on the 2.5 vs 3.5 overland kit. Wondering about the backspacing and offset if it’ll be to much poke for the 2.5in, but then if I go 3.5 worried that the bfgs will look to small for the 3.5in kit since they are a smaller 37.

I struggled between the 2.5 and 3.5 too. Clayton's builds are a bit under rated as far as size...the 2.5 with 35's mesured about 4" inches taller than stock! Trying to post photos, but keep getting "file too large" message.

Still won’t let me upload photo. Says “something went wrong. Try again or contact admin.” If you are comfortable doing so , send me your email and I will send you pix direct. Unless that is against the rules? Jay? I am not sure!

From your phone? Just hit the little photo landscape button next to the chain and it should go to your gallery. I just did it, zero issues.

Nope, still won't let me upload. JPeg file from cell phone photo. Keeps kicking back as "file too large". Tried from ipad, too. Same thing. Never had any issues before, but this is a new phone with hi res photo capability. Maybe too hi of pixel count for the site. Not sure... Also tried using the "attach file" button. Same issue. I will take some photos using low res settings to see if that works. Seems like it SHOULD work either way!!
