What makes a special order for a Jeep so hard is the accessibility to the process. I have ordered many vehicles and this is the only manufacture where you can relatively find out where your vehicle is in the build process. I ordered a new Subaru STI and June and it showed up five weeks later when my salesman called. It’s the anticipation that stinks when ordering a new Jeep. In this case, for self-preservation, ignorance is truly bliss.

New to the forum here and have just ordered my Gladiator Sport S, Max Tow in Gecko ! ! !
Ordered a week ago on 7/22 with a 6 to 8 week delivery... Now 5 to 7 weeks, right???
This will be my third Jeep, the other two being Grand Cherokees. Had a 93 that racked up 280,000 miles before upping to a 2002 GC...
Tremendous vehicles and am looking forward to getting out deeper into the Mojave Desert and other places...

I ordered a Rubicon in Sarge Green on 7/17 in Maine, quoted 6-8 weeks delivery by the dealer. I received my VIN earlier this week through Jeep chat and tonight I got an email with an estimated delivery date of 11/5. If that’s truly the case I’ll be asking for my deposit back.

I ordered a Rubicon in Sarge Green on 7/17 in Maine, quoted 6-8 weeks delivery by the dealer. I received my VIN earlier this week through Jeep chat and tonight I got an email with an estimated delivery date of 11/5. If that’s truly the case I’ll be asking for my deposit back.

That may be possible because I ordered my Jeep Sport S on 6/26 and just got a estimated delivery date of 10/5 if that helps.

I ordered on 7/8 and just got two emails from the Jeep Wave team. one saying est delivery the week of 9/25 and on saying est delivery of the week of 10/5. Has anyone gotten these emails and then had their jeeps show up sooner?

That sucks, sorry to hear. I won’t take delivery then. I wanted to have Rust Check undercoating before they start salting the roads, by 11/5 there will already be salt everywhere.

That's ridiculous. That's 4 months... I'd go crazy waiting for it for that long. Have you checked with the Jeep chat online yet?

I ordered on July 5 and then on July 21, the dealer gave me a build date of August 8.
