I ordered a Rubicon in Sarge Green on 7/17 in Maine, quoted 6-8 weeks delivery by the dealer. I received my VIN earlier this week through Jeep chat and tonight I got an email with an estimated delivery date of 11/5. If that’s truly the case I’ll be asking for my deposit back.

That seems really out there considering everyone else has a Rubicon/Mojave coming quickly

I ordered my Sport model on July the 14th. I got an Email today telling me the expected delivery date is the week of October the 16th.
Quite a long wait.

Got my VIN earlier this week as well for a black rubicon diesel, sent an email to Daniel at Gupton to see if I’m still on track for what he thought would be 8 weeks or so from VIN to delivery or if things are pushing back to the 2022 models now.

Automatic. Was going to get a manual (like all my other Jeep’s have been) but dropping to 4500 lbs towing was a no go for me.

I was also wavering back and forth between the manual and auto. I too went with the automatic. I was just wondering if the manual transmission is making the build process longer for people.

The email came from Jeep and was sent to both me and the cc to the dearship.

Why would an email come from Jeep to you and the dealer? Was there a mix up in the order process? It doesn’t seem Jeep Wave gets involved in the order process.

I ordered on 7/8 and just got two emails from the Jeep Wave team. one saying est delivery the week of 9/25 and on saying est delivery of the week of 10/5. Has anyone gotten these emails and then had their jeeps show up sooner?

Hopefully mine will because mine was ordered in June and 10/5 is over 12 weeks for me.

Why would an email come from Jeep to you and the dealer? Was there a mix up in the order process? It doesn’t seem Jeep Wave gets involved in the order process.

Prior to tonight’s posts, has anyone else received correspondence from Jeep Wave regarding their order?
From my previous Jeep ownerships, Jeep Wave only got involved when their was a warranty issue.

This was from Jeep Chat tonight on my order. Will be interesting to see what happens.

“Great question! Generally orders are 7-8 weeks from the time you order to the time the vehicle is delivered to your factory ordering dealership. Given that the factory had a one week shutdown, I would say the order timing is around 9 weeks or so at the moment. For an ETA I can refer you to your factory ordering dealership as they may have both a build and ship ETA available for your order. Once the order ships, we will also have an ETA at customer care, this will be the delivery to dealership ETA window.”

I also have ordered the Sport but on June 26th and just got my email today as well with expected delivery date of Oct 5th. I think is even longer but they had closed the plant for a week and I think they are pushing them behind the Rubicon/Mojave. I think they have a ton of more builds of the Sport models and they are priced lower so less profits for them. My view. Good luck on yours.
