Ordered a Mojave on 7/7 and figured with the latest chip shortage issues / shut down that I'd be waiting a long time. I reached out to my dealer and they said the status just updated and it is estimated to hit shipping status on the 17th. Keeping my fingers crossed, but not holding my breath.

Maybe I’ll give it another week. I was really looking forward to this Gladiator.

Ordered a Gecko Green Diesel Rubicon yesterday on the 30th, Not expecting it till late October/Early November. Dealership had said before the semiconductor shortage production halt that they had about a 12 week lead on orders until they were delivered.

It stinks that orders are being delayed. With that being said, what are the realistic options to getting what one wants. The Ford and Chevy dealerships in my town have nothing. It’s still better to wait unless you find exactly what you want somewhere, probably above MSRP.

If it gets really, really bad I’d be game to sell my 4 month old Mojave if I can get most of my purchase price out of it and order another one. New car, new warranty, feeling of Christmas all over again…?

I would probably get selec trac as it just came available when I ordered. Maybe the trail cam for fun And proximity locks for convenience. Otherwise I am pretty happy with what I ordered.

Good news boys

D1 status on my Willys today according to my dealer. Ordered 7/19 got VIN 2 days later from Jeep Chat, D1 7/31, estimated ship date 8/17

Not bad considering the factory shut downs and chip shortages for you boys with fancy optioned out trucks

Talked to the dealer today to order a 2022 Mojave- the only 22’s He can order right now are the wagoners. He will call as soon as he can order Gladiators ~ Gecko Green soon I hope.

Six to Eight weeks but I'm sure as he told you it's out of his control at this point. We will see.

I posted this in the Window Sticker and Build Sheet Order Tracking thread as well, but thought it was worth posting here, too.

I'm not sure how much this will help in the current environment, but for reference I ordered on 6/14, was in D1 by 6/17, received VIN on 7/2 (although this was likely delayed from actual VIN creation), delivered to Gupton on 7/23. My build was a well optioned Mojave in terms of factory options, but no after-market available ones (no bedliner, no trail rail, etc.). I did have the advanced safety, safety, and remote proximity options. Although a lot has changed in the past month and a half.

On a separate note, huge recommendation for Gupton. Never had an easier ordering or car buying process. They know what they're doing, they're professional, and they do what they say. Totally worth the flight and drive. Couldn't recommend more highly.

Got an update today that my Jeep is in status "JB - Shipped to Body Vendor." Those that have received their Jeep, how long did it take to go from this status to delivered?

Ordered 7/7, Vin 7/8, Paint on 7/28, Assembly Line Status on 7/29, 8/6 Shipped to Body Vendor
