Been searching for the right best Answer based off of experience; Hoe low can you go with stock wheels and air pressur? Can I stay stock on good BFG kM3 and air down to 7 and run a hard rock trail? I worry about daily driving and leaking wheels with bead locks!! So speaking y’all’s experience out there. Back in day we did with steel wheels and no beadlocks, I know some will say go for it. I getting old and don’t feel like fixing a wheel on trail, that is, after changing to spare lol. I also read that on stock wheel is width 7.5, and 37x12.50x18 calls for 8 wide rim, but I know many of us run larger tires on stock wheels. thanks for all your experience and advice before time.

Keeping the bead at that pressure will depend on the terrain and how you drive. I used to run 37x12.50s on stock 7.5” wheels on one of my JKs. I kept it around 14 psi offroad and never had a problem.

Lowest I hear from trail runners in the rocks of Pa .. 15 psi on non-beadlocks.. Also, many tire stores will not mount tires not complying with the MFG wheel width... and -
Are Beadlocks legal in Pennsylvania?
There is no law or anything in inspections that says beadlocks are not legal. The reason most say for off-road use only is to cover their a$$. There are some beadlocks that are "dot approved" but most are not

Yes sir, I even read were there is not a specific law written in a way formatted to actually allow for any ticket to stand up in court for beadlocks. So I wouldn’t even worry with the law I regards to that, just the fact I don’t feel like airing up a tire every time I took a ride because it has slow leak. I have ran 10, 12, and 17 psi in my dick cepek Extreeme county 35s and no issue, it wasn’t playing or climbing rocks, just riding over some.

15-16. If you have the select fill tire alert option it won't let you go lower than 16 psi. At least mine won't.

Mine did too I just ignored it. When using the select tire fill alert system the lowest it will let you go is 16 psi. I normally run 20 psi to keep my air compressor from overheating when filling back up. Slime pro series dual cylinder. I'll get something better later.

I run down to 17-18 PSI on my stock rims and 315/70R17 KO2's. That seems to be the sweet spot for this combination. On my old YJ with 33x10.5 KM2's and 8" steel wheels, 10 PSI was fine. But, I had to drive on pavement one time to a gas station to air back up when my compressor failed, that SUCKED!
