Looking into Ordering the 2021 Mojave, but before I start the process do you need the FCA Control Number at the time of the order or at the time you sign the Financials? I'm sure many have asked this question, but trying to read all the threads is very time consuming when there isn't enough hours in the day. TIA.

You don't need it when you order but will need to have had it for 30 days prior to pickup.

Correct. Sign up the day you place your order, you must be a member of tread lightly for 30 days before your control numbers become valid.

If you are ordering through dealer it'll take at least 30 days bare minimum so you'll have time to get your control number.

The control number will be needed at the time you go to pick up the truck and do the financial process.

I wish that were true, but then again I don't. I ordered a Willys, through my dealer with the specific options I wanted, on 29 July 2021 and signed up for Tread Lightly the same day. My Jeep was at the dealer and I took delivery before my Tread Lightly 30 days had passed. I suppose I could have waited another 9 days...
