Can the front camera be set to automatically come on at low speed?

I'm ordering a Mojave soon. I've test driven a couple gladiator's with the front camera, but didn't play with all the settings. Is there a setting that can have the camera come on at parking lot speed?

Someone else may chime in with a direct answer but failing that, if you "double tap" the mute button on the entertainment system, it will come on. Not automatic, but pretty simple to activate.

Thanks! That is actually better! I am sure it would be annoying at stoplights, etc if it came on at low speed. I just didn't want to click thru several screens to get to it.

Yes I find it very useful in this "mode". When parking, I can double tap and see the car/post/etc. in front of me. Or when wheeling I can quickly access the camera to see obstacles. Also, when the camera comes up, you can toggle the front an rear cameras.

I'm pretty sure that mute-button double-tap to enable the camera is a Tazer setting, so a stock Mojave won't do that.

However, you can rearrange the buttons so that the Front Camera button is always visible on screen, so you can just reach out and hit it to turn on the front camera. I set mine up like that for when I'm parking and sometimes want to see just how close I'm getting to whatever is in front of me.

I don't remember the exact way to change the default buttons on UConnect but I do remember that it's super easy.

Yes, I set up the front camera button as one of the default buttons on the bottom of the screen before I even had the Tazer. It was sort of like moving icons on an iPhone - press and hold, then drag it to where you want. So you can customize all the buttons that are along the bottom of the screen.
