MY22 Only - Anyone moved to D1?

Gupton told me I was D1 on 10/28. Jeep chat will not confirm that anymore. If it's not D1, can we change the build? I'd like to do dual top group.

Jeep Chat can't see the code (or won't tell you if they can, not exactly sure...). I think if you have a VIN, you're stuck, even if not at D1. D means the order was accepted and passed the configuration tests, so my guess is if you make a change you go back to the end of the line.

Last 6 of VIN 100250 - Vin was received from the dealer along with a reply to my build, so I had it right away.
Order was marked as "Sold order," and Priority 01

Status on the POC says "Status - D Firm schedule: serial number is assigned." I will say the online tracker still shows nothing.

Have you recently checked with the Chapman crew? I was D last week from them, jeep chat provided nothing other than the parts were gathered.. I'd wager ours may be on the same train when it comes.

Yes, from my understanding, the last 6 digits of the VIN are in the order they were ordered. My last 6 digits are 000324. What is yours?

The first digit [number] is the country of origin. 1 means built in USA.
The second digit [letter] is the manufacturer. C means it's manufactured by Chrysler
The third digit [number] is the vehicle type. 6 means truck?
Digits 4-7 [letters] not sure of the exact order] should identify the GVWR, model, left/right hand drive, and transmission. My 6 Speed Mohave has JJTE
Digit 8 [letter] is the engine. G means 3.6 Liter V-6
Digit 9 [number] is the check digit which is between 0-9 or an X. No idea what that means.
Digit 10 [letter] is the model year. N means 2022
Digit 11 [letter] is the assembly plant. L means Toledo OH.
Digits [numbers] 12-17 is the sequential serial number. I'm assuming it means for all Gladiators.

Ok, weird... if Digit 10 is the year (and I know that's correct), why is yours J and mine is N?

I’m probably more patient than most. It’s a 2nd car for me and I’m not in a huge hurry.

I Just realized we swapped messages in the “Just ordered,” thread where you said NY. My bad for not realizing.

They quoted me $1590 including tax for the kit, and the labor at $1190 including tax (8hrs of labor at $139.95). So that’s like $2,780 or so all in. The labor is what got me. I’ve read it should only be a few hours. I know I can get the kit for $200 less if I shop around, but those install costs make me consider doing it myself.

That install cost is outrageous. If you want some shops to quote out lmk I can pm you a couple in jersey that will certainly do it for less. That is a 4 hour install all day...

i ordered on 10/15 then decided to change the screen option to 8.4. they made me cancel and replace. so if you change it, the clock restarts.
