I didnt buy my Jeep for off-road use it may see a yearly visit to the beach but that is about it. I just needed a small truck and always wanted a Jeep so I bought it. However after buying it I found out it is a little high for me to get in and out of easily and as time goes on it will become more difficult. I have used lowering springs/kits on other vehicles I have but I really dont like the way this Jeep would look lowered so I am thinking of doing a bag system on it. Has anyone ever had experience with this? Am I going to hate the ride. I am needing about 2" drop from my step bar.

Cheaper and more effective to just get something like rock slide engineering steps. Will get you a really easy ingress and egress with out lowering the capabilities.

Thanks I will check that out. That would be a lot easier then bagging it. This was the original option I was looking for but this one actually drops further then the ones I was looking at so it will probably work.

I don't know your mobility issues and it's none of my business anyway.
But you might want to look at quality grab handles to assist you on entering and exiting.
Give you something solid to support yourself as you climb in or out.
My height challenged wife appreciates them.

My dad has been thinking about lowered springs/smaller tires for his Jeep....really trying to push him towards and engineered auto-lowering step. There are some nice options out there, with a wide range of $$.
